I honestly thought I was done, like DONE, with magic quest stories. This writer made it so easy and so natural-feeling to fall into a new world with new rules of engagement, fall in love with the characters, totally fall for the way this writer handles things that I think that maybe magic questing hasn’t been done to death after all. There’s definitely room for this on my bookshelf.
